West Langdon Bay

Here's Langdon Bay looking across it from the west. There's what looks like an old berm here that I'd guess separates the creek from Saunders Lake and Langdon Bay. It's just east of the old sewer plant holding pond. It's purpose may have been to bring that water past the holding pond. As I may have written before, the old holding pond looks like it was built right into a swamp, perhaps as a way to make things easier.   Bigger image  Weather update: Last nights thunderstorm was spectacular and parts of Mound lost power for almost 5 hours. The rain however was not sufficient to cause Langdon Bay Creek to resume its flow.
