Glass Plus building in Mound to be repainted

According to the Laker, the Glass Plus building is going to be repainted, and then as near as I can make out, demolished in the future. The good news is, the City of Mound will not be paying for this, even though it owns the building, and has so for a number of years. Mound Harbor Renaissance Development (MHR) will be paying for the paint, but we will own the paint, at least for a little while. I am also gathering from the story in the Laker that, sales of the Villas on Lost Lake are below expectations, (which is typical of the poor housing market in most places) and the neutral colored new paint, might help with that problem. The building it on the extreme right, along old Shoreline.
I am still pushing for you to take walk or bike ride along the nearby Andrews Sisters Trail. Depending on the weather, it can be pleasant, and it'll give you a chance to see how things are going downtown?
