"Spirit of The Lakes Festival, July 19-21
Thursday, July 19: Music in The Park and a Kiddie Parade at Mound Bay Park.
Friday, July 20: Stonegate Plaza will host "Boots and Badges". Fun, Family Safety Awareness Fair, entertainment, food court, skate park competition, and street dance on Wilshire Blvd.
Saturday, July 21: Mound Bay Park is the place to be all day!!! Art and Business Fair, continuous land and water entertainment, the food court, and at evening's end.................the 2007 fireworks show. Donations for the fireworks show are greatly welcomed and your tax deductible donation can be made out to MCP-Spirit of The Lakes and sent to Mound Crime Prevention Association, 5341 Maywood Road, Mound, 55364.

From the Laker: "The Westonka Jaycees are coordinating the revived parade that will traverse Mound's re-developing downtown to kick-off the final day of the festival. City officials also hope that the event will bring community members into the heart of that changing cityscape." Parade
