Amanda Schwarze writes for the Pioneer: "During a recent Sales and Use Tax audit, Long Lake city staff was told that the city owes some money in additional taxes and interest.

The Long Lake City Council voted to pay the $6,033.64 to the Minnesota Department of Revenue (DOR) during their March 20 meeting."  Audit

My comment: When you buy a boat in Wisconsin or Iowa and bring it back to Minnesota, check into what Minnesota Revenue expects you to do about its sales tax.
